Christmas in September!
It's that time of year again, the time when I start my Christmas shopping. Yeah, I like to get an early jump on it. But I usually still end up with my share of last minute shopping, too. So far, I have one gift bought. But I'm not saying for whom.
It's also the time of year when new holiday romances start to hit the bookshelves, both digital and physical. I'm happy to announce my first ever contemporary holiday romance Echo Bay Christmas. It's available in both print and digital. If you're looking for a Christmas read for now or later, I hope you'll check it out.
Echo Bay Christmas is close to my heart for many reasons. When I was growing up, my grandparents owned a resort on a lake in North Idaho. Some of the happiest memories of my childhood are of Rocky Point Lodge. My brothers and I ran wild over that place—swimming, boating, fishing. It was a child's heaven. And at the same time it was homey and warm, a place filled with love and laughter. Echo Bay Christmas takes place at the fictional Echo Bay Resort, a resort on a lake in North Idaho. While I was writing it, I drew on the love and joy of my memories of Rocky Point and created a holiday romance that you can cuddle up with.
SOME MEMORIES ARE TOO PAINFUL TO FACE
Tara Clark is spending her first Christmas at her grandparents' resort lodge since her brother died near there in a snowboarding accident on Christmas Eve ten years ago. When her matchmaking grandma sets her up with tiny Echo Bay's newest resident–none other than her ex-fiancé Ryan Sanders–not even a record snowfall can dampen the rekindling of a love that wouldn’t die.
SOME LOVES ARE TOO STRONG TO DENY
When Ryan Sanders returns to the small town he grew up in, his life feels nearly complete. But as the snow piles up in the week before Christmas, and his ex-fiancée Tara shows up, Ryan has to face the truth that he has never really gotten over her. And with Christmas Eve fast approaching, all he wants for Christmas is Tara.

I have the best job in the world. Seriously. Especially for a daydreaming girl with a vivid imagination. I get to sit at my desk and make stuff up. Romantic stuff. Dreamy stories. What could be better than that? Really, I shouldn't be allowed to have this much fun!
This summer I've had way too much of it writing a brand new college-set new adult series I'm calling The Reckless Series. For this project, I have a hip, in-the-know college-age consultant advising me on current college culture. Hearing her tales of college life while writing Ellie and Logan's story almost makes me want to go back to school and fall in love all over again with my college sweetheart—the man I married.
Reckless Longing is the first book in the trilogy.
Right now, I'm writing day and night on book two, Reckless Secrets, which picks up right where Reckless Longing leaves off and takes Ellie and Logan on another passionate ride. The Reckless books are romances at their heart—boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back. But the journey is everything. I hope you'll hang with me for the series. I promise you a satisfying ending in the end!
Ellie Martin hates her beautiful, man-crazy mother. Her mother’s wild and wanton behavior has left Ellie with a deep longing. To escape. To belong. To know who her real dad is. To really be loved. Her mother finally crosses a line that sends Ellie running, escaping to college with one, focused goal–to find and confront her bio dad, who doesn’t even know she exists. Then she meets Logan. Hot, charming, and troubled. He turns her world upside down and puts all her plans in jeopardy.
Logan Walker is hiding a shameful and painful secret. One that nearly cost him everything. When he meets the beautiful and mysterious Ellie at a campus Week of Welcome event, something inside him awakens and he finds himself drawn to her.
But the attraction they both feel for each other is as delicate as the web of secrets they each hide behind. And as the truths are revealed, their reckless longing may not survive the fallout.

Where has the summer gone? I can't believe it's here! RELEASE DAY--already! My latest Agent Ex novel, License to Love, is out today.
Fourth in the Agent Ex series, License to Love is set among the lights, glamour and glitz of Las Vegas, Nevada.
RT Book Reviews gives it 4 stars, saying, "Magic, espionage and rival magicians mingle together well in Robinson's latest novel. The characters are quirky, original and funny. Snarky dialogue and sexy characters draw the reader in, and an inventive plot keeps the reader engaged ... All in all, a good, fun romp."

I'm happy to announce the release of my newest historical romance, The Escort. Fall in love with hot Italian hero Tonio Domani, mine owner, explosives expert and reluctant chaperone to fiery, beautiful Italian mail-order bride Angelina Allessandro. Set in the late 1890s, this sweeping saga follows Tonio and Angelina from the streets of New York to the wild, untamed mining country of northern Idaho.
If you liked The Last Honest Seamstress and The Union, you'll love The Escort.

Readers have been asking me for another historical romance so here it is—The Union, available now! What I love about The Union is that its hero is a spy of sorts, an undercover private detective, a cowboy detective with a love for danger. He's the historical counterpart of my contemporary spies. Like The Last Honest Seamstress, The Union is based around real historical events in the Pacific Northwest late in the 1800s.
Love is a dangerous deception
Gem, Idaho 1892
HE KNEW THE DANGERS OF GOING UNDERCOVER
After killing Irish union thug McCullough in self-defense and assuming his identity, private detective John Dietz is worried that his cover is blown. Sent to the Silver Valley to infiltrate the miner’s union and uncover their plans to blow up an important mine, he’s ready for anything. Except falling in love with the beautiful fiancée of the man he killed.
BUT FALLING IN LOVE WAS NEVER PART OF THE PLAN
Keely Byrne fell in love with her fiancé through the mail. Now seeing him in person, he’s even more attractive and sexy than she imagined. But as Keely gets to know him, and falls more deeply in love she wonders if he really is who he claims to be. And as tension and danger explode all around them she hopes their love can survive the union.

I have a lot of exciting new releases planned for 2013, starting with a new series of spylicious romance Agent Ex short stories.
Fans have been telling me they can't wait for the next Agent Ex novel to come out in August. Now you don't have to. Feed your addiction with little bites of romance, fun little reads featuring my National Clandestine Services secret agents that take you away to tropical locales. Little electronic staycations full of action, adventure, spies, and romance. I'm calling the series Surfer Sailor Lover Spy.
Look for the first one, Surfer Sailor Lover Spy—Maui, later this month. Follow Ty and Treflee from The Spy Who Left Me on their own top-secret personal mission of love and intrigue. And if you haven't read The Spy Who Left Me, or any of the Agent Ex novels? No problem. Like each book of the Agent Ex series, the short stories are standalone reads. I hope you'll give them a try.
And speaking of the Agent Ex books, License to Love, the fourth Agent Ex novel, comes out on August 27th. This time, the heroine, Lani, is the spy and the magician/illusionist hero has to keep up with her. I had so much fun writing this one. And I absolutely love the cover St. Martin's gave the book.
The heart is the most dangerous weapon of all.
Gina Robinson mixes seduction and secret agents like nobody’s business. And this time, she’s headed to Las Vegas, where romance is the biggest gamble of them all…
LOVE IS NO ILLUSION
Rock Powers is one of the most successful magicians in Vegas for a reason—he creates illusions too spectacular to believe. But his former assistant, gorgeous Lani Silkwater, pulled off the greatest trick of all: disappearing into thin air the day after they were married. Two years later, Rock can’t resist a clue to Lani’s whereabouts—or the outlandish plan Lani and her mysterious boss propose, if it means a chance to win her back for good...
BUT IT’S ALWAYS MAGICAL
Working as a magician’s assistant was one of Lani’s strangest undercover assignments, but she never imagined it would be so dangerous—to her heart. Leaving Rock was the right thing for both of them, but with a terrorist group closing in on Vegas, Rock’s talent with sleight of hand is imperative. To save them both, Lani must reveal secrets she’s kept for years, and one of them is how much she loves the sexy magician who stole her heart…
The Agent Ex series is:
“A clever concoction of lust and longing.”—Publishers Weekly
“A hilariously brilliant romp.”—Reader to Reader Reviews
And that's not all. I haven't forgotten my historical romance readers. In March and April I'll be adding to my Pacific Northwest series by publishing two new historical romances set in the Pacific Northwest.
Mark your calendars! My newest Agent Ex novel, Live and Let Love comes out December 24th, 2012.
Praise for Live and Let Love:
"Secret agents, mysterious identities and a love that just won’t die make for a sweet, clever escape from reality."
- Kirkus Reviews
"Robinson's action-packed tale doesn't shy away from the fact that the hero is an assassin. Featuring plenty of interesting gadgets for spying and killing, as well as some delightful dogs— and a good dose of humor and suspense—this book ensures readers will race to the perfectly fitting finish."
- Susan Mobley, RT Book Reviews 4 ½ Stars
"Gina is a talented writer...if you are fan of her stories and you find a book gift card in your stocking, this book is worth adding to your wish list."
- Night Owl Romance Reviews
As a reader, I enjoy reading varied genres and subgenres. As a writer, I love the variety, challenge, and fun of writing in different subgenres of romance and women's fiction—contemporary romance, romantic suspense, chicklit . And now I'm happy to announce the release of my first historical romance, The Last Honest Seamstress.
Seamstress, as I call it for short (yes we like to give our books nicknames), isn't a humorous book like my contemporary novels are. But like my contemporary novels it's packed full of adventure, emotion, and, of course, romance.
Why the title? What does it mean? What makes a seamstress honest? The answer is another question that sounds almost like a joke—when is a seamstress not really a seamstress? And the answer—in Seattle in 1889 when "seamstress" was the occupation prostitutes listed when booked for solicitation. Intrigued?
The Last Honest Seamstress
